Occupy Nashville - soon I'll be #Blissdom Bound!

When I hear the song, "Party in the USA" by Miley Cyrus I think of BlissDom 2011.

This is why.... 90 people from across the USA came together, online, to learn this dance so they could Flash Mob the BlissDom founders & attendees. It was a total surprise!

Who else could get Chris Mann to join in the fun??! Yes, that's him at the front of the mob!

BlissDom is in 34 days!!! 34 days people and I'm so freaking excited!!

I'm excited for many reasons, just one being that I'll be flying to NASHVILLE baby! Spending FIVE nights at the Gaylord-Opryland Hotel, surrounded by several hundred or so other bloggers {750 *gulp* by far biggest conference I've attended yet} from all parts of the country. Can you say SOCIAL BUTTERFLY OVERLOAD?! 

I love it!!

This will be my first time to BlissDom in the US-A. Sing it, it fits nicely to the tune above... I am a BlissDom Canada alumni though, 2010 and 2011. I can't wait to see how they differ. I had the privilege of participating in a LIVE feed during one of the BlissDom 2011 sessions where Scott Stratten from UnMarketing did a shout out to ME from the stage!!! I may or may not have swooned... just sayin... small crush. K, moving on...

This year, BlissDom will start with a Handmade Marketplace where artisans attending BlissDom can not only show their wares, they can sell them too! Totally cool.

Then once things get going, their "tracks and sessions" will focus on four topics; Business, Writing, Life Development and Photography.

This is where things get interesting... each 90 minute session will be broken down into three parts, or 30-30-30 as they call it.

• Presentation {30 minutes} – Teaching.
• Small Group Mastermind {30 minutes} – Collaboration.
• Discussion and Q&A {30 minutes} – Communication.

The Writing and Photography Tracks format will also have a handy-dandy, hands-on workshop!

There are a ton of fabulous speakers, only a few I've heard of, but that has more to do with the fact that I'm a late bloomer in this blog conference-land business. I can't wait to hear some fresh meat! :)

The parties, the food, the sessions, the SWAG... that's all great - I love it - bring it on... but the bottom line for me is, the connections. I love connecting with people... NOT NETWORKING... that's a different animal all together. CONNECTING. I've been talking with a bunch of people online for years that I'll finally get to meet in February! Friends that I have met and grown in a relationship with, thanks to BlissDom Canada, that I'll get to see again!

It's an amazing community out there... don't knock it until you've experience it!
