Two friends from church kidnapped me this past weekend, we called it a #PWnapping. They'd made arrangements with my hubby after BlissDom Canada was over... they all figured I could use an actual restful vacation, as opposed to going to Vegas I guess.
So Friday afternoon they showed up on my doorstep, told me to pack my things and I kissed my family good-bye.
Ruth, who also writes at Mom's Musings, has an aunt and uncle in Cantley, Quebec (north of Gatineau, near Mont Cascades) a mere 6 hour drive from home. She'd made arrangements for us to stay with them. They not only gave us a comfy bed to sleep in but made us delicious meals all weekend long. I gained 3 pounds at least...
They were going to take me horseback riding on Saturday but when I found out that Cheryl had never been to our nation's capital, we made going into Ottawa a priority. After all... we were only 30 minutes away!

We finished off the day relaxing for a couple of hours at the BleuSpa back in Cantley, QC.
Now that is something I'd like to do on a more regular basis!! Right ladies?! Thanks to Ruth and Cheryl for kidnapping their Pastor's Wife for a great weekend escape & well needed rest.
