Well... a tiny bit of reservation struck me over the head at first... I am in the middle of redoing my kitchen, so I turned down their offer for a professional photographer shoot but after seeing the fabulous photos on Tammi, Lena and Stephanie's blog... I asked my very talented photographer friend Alex from Life's Captured Blessings to help me out.
We had a very limited amount of time to get everything done before we left on Christmas vacation, so I am so very glad that my daughter likes to take the reins in the kitchen.
Before I knew it, she'd made Peanut Butter Snowballs and Rocky Ridge Bark, leaving me the Two-Layer Cookie Crunch Fudge to make on my own.
The Peanut Butter Snowballs were my family's absolute favourite, hands-down. I had to make them last until after the photoshoot with Alex, but right after that... they were GONZO! :)
I couldn't help taste-test the very first one...
This is such an easy recipe, it only takes a few minutes to put it together and I guarantee Santa and Mrs Claus will appreciate the break from all the Milk and Cookies.
Emma made the Rocky Ridge Bark... but I got to break it apart and put it in its containers... and taste-test it of course. All in a day's work! :)
I couldn't have done it without your encouragement either Alex, you made me feel relaxed and less self-conscious. If you're in the Waterloo Region... check her out, she's a fantastic budding photographer! xoxoxox
